Every Omega has certain duties. One of these tasks is to learn what plants grow here in the Utopia, and pass this knowlege on to future generations. They are to be familiar with the names of the plants, what they look like, where they can be found, and what they are used for. Below is a list of those plants that you can refer to whenever you'd like!
Keep in mind that mostly all of these herbs can't be found in the colder seasons. So, what is an Omega to do? Well, that's simple - when there is a surplus of herbs to go around, it would be wise to pick many of them and store them somewhere - small, cool places such as crevices in rocks and caves are a good place to start. Burying them would work too, but that method will make them decay faster and it's likely they won't last through all of Winter. Keeping them flattened underneath a large stone is perfect, too!

Chamomile - a large, white flower with a bulbous yellow center. Can be easily found anywhere throughout the valley in surplus - except in the Wintertime.
Uses: Often given to mothers in early labor to help them relax and calm their nerves. Also helps with upset stomachs - a pup with a tummyache should eat three, and a juvenile or adult, six.
Echinacea - a large flower with a huge center. It's usually purplish, violet, though sometimes deep orange. It resembles a Chamomile, but its petals often droop and are much sharper-pointed. It can be found most often in the forests and thickets. Disappears in Wintertime.
Uses: Reccomended to be given to mothers immediately after birthing and up until their pups are weaned. It helped protect her, and through her milk, her pups, from diseases and builds up a good immunity. Once a pup is weaned, give them one Echinacea every day for two weeks.
Wort Flower - A brilliant-looking plant shaped like a star. It has fat petals and many protruding stigma in its center. It's a bright yellow, like the sun. You can find this flower, growing it tight stalks, only in clearings such as the open meadows.
Uses: This pretty flower is known for its reputation to help uplift spirits and keep sadness from settling in. It's given to the pack in rare cases of hardship. Of course, it's not a cure for sorrow, but a stepping stone.
Passion Flower - The strangest plant you'll probably ever see, the Passion Flower is only found in one place - the very edge of the Swamps. It's purple and white, with many strange patterns in the center, and has many petals.
Uses: Grind two of these large flowers together into a pulp and feed them to a wolf to help them sleep deep. It's a cure for insomia and is sometimes given to mothers or Alphas to help them rest. Soldiers, before and after a battle, appreciate these as well.
