SITEWIDE PLOT:
Forest Fire and River Rapids are at odds with one another. Some wolves express outright hatred for their rival pack, while others feel a strong sense of loyalty and appreciation, just like the old days. The main plotline will center mainly around these tense relationships and varying individual opinions.
Life is strained. Many blame this new way of Utopia life on the "Rorik incident," as everyone calls it - when the young Forest Fire male fell in love with a River Rapids female and was eventually killed unjustly in the River Rapids territory. This event created so much drama, pain, suffering, and mistrust, that it became something of a legend in the Utopia history. Wolves now often refer to Rorik as something of a hero - or even a traitorous idiot.
In the old days, the two packs were able to freely mingle, mostly on friendly business terms. Mating between the two packs happened sometimes, but a rule had been established that the pups would stay with the mother.
Now, mating between the two packs is forbidden, and fights may often happen over halfling pups.
Everything is delicately balanced because one Alpha feels differently from another, or one Omega befriends a rival Omega. How can cooperation be expected in this new, divided Utopia? Will there be any wolves brave enough to follow their hearts? Will doing so just cause another "Rorik incident?" It's up to every individual to make their decisions. Are you swayed by loyalty, tradition, or love?
Also, there is the organization of traitors. Very few suspect it, and none know for sure if it is happening. The traitors are good at what they do; blending in with the Utopia's way of life, while secretly recruiting more and more traitors. The plotline will also have a lot to do with wolves changing sides, manipulating one another, and struggling to stay incognito.
WILL THE CHAOS EVER END?
SUB-PLOT (GENERATION 1):
In the midst of turmoil, there have been strange wolves appearing in the two packs. Their stories are all the same; that they were living among the two-legged humans in small cages, where they were poked and sometimes tortured. It appears they have traveled from the snowy territories in the mountainous north. A fire had started in the buildings and many of the animals were set free in order to be saved. Some wolves are strange breeds with odd fur colors and strange body shapes. It's been a rocky road deciding whether to trust this group of stragglers, and has especially been a spark of animosity with the two packs; which pack is welcoming more recruits? Is it a good thing, or a bad thing?? Also, the subordinates of each pack are likely to have very different opinions about these strange outsiders.
